The big green monster in this book teaches kids that good health is a scream

It’s easy to tell kids (and adults for that matter) that they should eat better or more healthily, but what does that really mean?  As we get more embroiled in the obesity epidemic, we are beginning to recognize that people really don’t know that that banana is better for them than a McDonald’s large fry.  The key seems to be starting early, which is just Edward Miller’s intention for The Monster Health Book which teaches kids from second to fifth grade how to make smart eating choices.  Best of all, it’s not stodgy—what kid wouldn’t take the health advice of a giant green monster?
